Technical Difficulties!!!

Hello beloved family and friends!  I just wanted to touch base to say that I haven't forgotten about our wonderful blog!  In fact, I've missed being able to update you all on our families adventures!  However, we have experienced some technical setbacks and they are going to be fixed soon (we hope)!  So, while this is happening I will be unable to put the latest batch of pictures up!  So Uncle Bubbles (Todd) please relax, and know that we will get you on the blog just as soon as we are able!

Giles got home from work Friday afternoon last week and decided that we really needed to get out and do something!  So we packed up the kids and crossed to border to Grand Forks to the water park at the Canad Inns there.  The water was a little on the cool side so it took awhile for Xander to warm up (literally) to the whole thing, but once comfortable he really didn't want to leave!  Also this gave us another chance to feature Avery in her little swimsuit!  

We discovered that to prop Avery up in her car seat, she'll sit there quite happily for a long time....this is also when Avery discovered that she could suck on her toes!  Our little yoga master!   Yet, observe the number of arm rolls displayed here!

These unpredictable jets of water were quite entertaining!  Even as Xander is looking over my shoulder right now he's asking to go back to the swimming pool!  

This started with Giles trying to teach Xander how to blow bubbles in the water.  He could sort of do it, but discovered greater satisfaction in just splashing Daddy with water!  Like Father, like son!

Xander didn't really warm up to the water slides or anything like that, but loved the feel of walking through the water with his hands dragging!  He looked a little like some jungle animal ready to pounce...especially with his semi-evil laugh he's developed!  I should really try and get a video of it...something for the future!

Old toys more attractive!

After Avery started using the exersaucer again it became a lot more interesting to Xander as well!  I think its probably the start of what's to come as far as whatever one has the other will want and the rivalry that is bound to come up.  So far we've been lucky with Xander being so relaxed with Avery and getting toys for her when she drops them or wanting me to pick her up if she's crying!  It will be interesting to see how their relationship evolves!

He does still look pretty comfortable in here, although it only lasted a few minutes!
