Picnic

MCI was playing Miller in a baseball game yesterday late afternoon and so Giles and I packed a picnic supper and took the kids to the game!  Apparently baseball wasn't quite action packed enough to hold Xander's attention, but the people walking by on the path were entertaining...and we brought his soccer ball as always!

More people watching...I just liked this shot of him sitting there so quiet and content, for a little while anyways.

Avery is our little carb girl!  Anything bread or dough-like (perogies and blueberries for example) is sure to be a hit in her books!  Here it looks like she is having a very serious moment with her bun before ripping it to shreds!

Having a great time!   By folding up her hat like this it seemed we could half convince her that the hat didn't actually exist!  Avery HATES anything on her head, but the sun was quite bright so between Giles and myself, we kept putting it back on as soon as it was off or holding it down on her head (you can imagine how much she liked that!).  Finally Giles folded up the front and this seemed to work a little better!  Avery is her own little woman and we really wouldn't have her any other way!
